Q: Am I too short to wear a hat?
A: You could try a topper style which will help to elongate the silhouette thereby adding height in a subtle way.
Q: Am I too tall to wear a hat?
A: A wider brim and a shallow crown will flatter your shape superbly, and will look stunning with a flared skirt and nipped in waist or wide trousers.
Q: Am I too curvy to wear a hat?
A: Tall and curvy ladies can benefit from a wide brimmed hat which will help to define the waist. Petite and curvy ladies could try a taller crown with a semi-bretton or picture style.
Q: I don't suit hats, what are my other options?
A: In all our years of trading we're yet to find someone who we couldn't help. If a hat really isn't your thing try a smaller cocktail piece or fascinator.
Q: What is a fascinator?
A: A fascinator is a decorative piece sometimes incorporating 'jewels' and feathers. They are fixed to a comb, clip or band and are extremely pretty and flattering. Fascinators are suitable for all ages and a number of occasions.
Q: I'm the mother of the bride I'm concerned my hat will restrict me?
A: You need a semi-Breton. This style allows you to kiss and be kissed, to be photographed easily, and drink from a champagne flute with ease.
Q: Will wearing a hat spoil my hairstyle?
A: All hats are fitted to your head shape and should be snug but not tight. We can advise you what to do with your hair when you take your hat off.
Q: I wear glasses; will a hat still suit me?
A: If you don't think a hat will suit you, then we can show you headpieces or fascinators, but we think you'll be surprised that a hat can look just as good if you wear glasses; the hat just needs to be fitted properly.
Q: I need the hat for more than one day, will it be expensive?
A: No, the fee covers up to five days, longer periods of time can be arranged for a little extra.
Q: I'm flying. Will I be able to take the hat with me?
A: Yes, all the hats are packed in sturdy hat boxes and filled with tissue for a secure journey
